Get Ready to Wet Your Pants

Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is being hailed as one of the scariest games around. Considering the other two instalments were no walk in the park, this is quite a statement. Read on to find out if Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 will make you go crying to your mother.

If you are still alive after playing Five Nights at Freddy’s 1 and 2 and are still ready for more, then you are in for a real treat. The spooky animatronics are back and ready to pull your skin right from your body the first chance they get. Within minutes you are sure to agree that this is by far the scariest game in the trilogy and you will wonder why the poor hapless security guard doesn’t just quit his job and take up a safer occupation.

This time, the action takes place in a fairground attraction. This provides an interesting change of setting as well as plenty of opportunities for scares along the way. there are so many seemingly cute characters around with their infamous cruel streak that you will want to take a look at everything around you at least twice and your nerves are sure to be constantly on edge as you wait for evil to strike.

This game is all about survival rather than going out and taking on the bad guys. Players never really know when or where danger will strike and there are lots of extra challenges and things to watch out for. Over the course of five frightening nights you are tasked with protecting the entire fairground with only a series of defence mechanisms and security cameras to back you up. In the fairground, nobody can hear you scream, which if you are home alone is probably just as well.

The game is set thirty years after Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria was closed at the end of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. The owners have now opened a brand new business; Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction. This is a dedicated House of Horrors attraction where things are engineered to go bump in the night. Of course, this being a business belong to Freddy Fazbear, the animatronics are very realistic and don’t seem to realise than they are supposed to be fake.

Fortunately, this time around there is only one evil animatronic after your blood. This definitely does not mean that you have things easy though, as the other animatronics try to make their presence felt in a series of very unnerving hallucinations. These extra frights mean that players are sure to be distracted and are likely to be caught off their guard when the real danger strikes. Luckily, you have a few new weapons to help keep evil at bay, at least for a while.

Perhaps the only downside of this game is that it is rather short. However, for most people the game is so harrowing in its gruesome detail that it can actually feel much longer than it is. The shortness of the game allows you time to get you heart rate back to its normal pace and take some much needed time out.

Has a computer game ever made you scream out loud? If not, get ready for a whole new experience. People who are fans of the horror film genre are sure to love this game and it is well executed with plenty of thrills and spills along the way that are sure to shock and delight.

  • Scary hallucinations
